Swords Express
A division of Eirebus, Swords Express is the multi-award winning rapid link to Dublin City Centre from Swords. Winner of "Passenger Transport Company of the Year" at The Irish Logistics & Transport Awards 2013, 2014, 2015, 2017 & 2019. Swords Express provides 159 daily weekday departures and 86 weekend departures, a 35 minute journey time, luxury coaches and exceptional customer service to thousands of happy customers every day.
Routes & Fares
The primary Swords Express 500 route operates from Swords Manor to Eden Quay/Merrion Square. Other peak time Swords Express routes include the 500X, 501, 501X, 502, 503, 504, 505, 506X and 507. Single fares range from €1.30 - €4.50 and ten journey tickets are offered ranging from €27 - €37. Tickets can be bought from the driver with cash and Leap Cards are also accepted on the service. A range of taxsaver tickets are also available, including monthly (€132), three-month (€387) and annual (€1,399).
Swords Express Fleet
Swords Express operates a mixed fleet of 40 fully automatic transmission and air ride suspension fitted coaches. The fleet is comprised of Spanish assembled Scania K114 Irizar Centurys, Irizar PB type coach bodies built on the Scania K340 EB chassis and twin & tri-axle Caetano vehicles. Coaches are fitted with reclining seats, climate control, audio and video media players, on-board complimentary Wi-Fi, and safety belts. Overhead soft lighting, reading lamps, directional air conditioning nozzles, baggage shelves and skylights are standard throughout the Swords Express fleet.
All Swords Express coaches have been retrofitted with Bluetree fuel usage monitoring and driver profiling to ensure a minimum fuel burn and a reduced carbon footprint. Our coaches are fitted with real-time tracking for passenger convenience. Amber LED destination display units are fitted on the front of coaches showing route number and final destination.
Fingal Express
Fingal Express is a premium coach service operating from Skerries, Rush and Lusk to Dublin City Centre and UCD. Fingal Express operates daily peak time services using fully seated deluxe coaches, reclining seats, air conditioning, complimentary Wi-Fi, fast journey times and a high level of customer service. In September 2019, we were delighted to announce the expansion of our scheduled commuter service in North County Dublin operating between Portrane/ Donabate and Dublin City Centre via the Port Tunnel on weekdays, catering for peak time passengers.
